Meet Aimee

Hi, I’m Aimee, the teacher behind Base Planners. I’m in my twelfth year of teaching and I’m currently teaching Year 11 and 12 English in Melbourne.

I’m still in the classroom today, which means I genuinely understand the many, many moving parts of school life in this incredible but busy job.

Like many teachers, I’ve always been someone who cares deeply about doing a good job. For years, I tried to manage everything digitally using apps, calendars, my school’s LMS, Word docs and (if I’m being honest) mostly my own brain. As my responsibilities grew and life got busier, I realised I needed a better system to stay organised in a profession that asks so much of us.

I created Base Planners because I wanted a teacher planner that actually worked for the realities of teaching. Something practical, purposeful and genuinely useful. A planner with the space, features and flexibility to help teachers feel organised, prepared and in control throughout the year.

The Base Planner is the system I rely on every day. It’s my home base for managing my time, planning ahead, and keeping track of all of the things. No fluff and no unnecessary extras; just a really practical tool designed around the way teachers actually work.
